Our Beliefs

Words of Isa practices ministry according to scriptural principles:

  • We engage Islamic culture.

    1 Corinthians 9:19

“But I have become a slave to everyone, so that I can win as many people as possible. When I am with the Jews, I live like a Jew to win Jews. They are ruled by the Law of Moses, and I am not. But I live by the Law to win them. And when I am with people who are not ruled by the Law, I forget about the Law to win them. Of course, I never really forget about the law of God. In fact, I am ruled by the law of Christ.”

  • We love Muslims, just as Jesus loves them.

    Revelation 5:9

“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.”

  • We meet Muslims where they are at.

    Acts 17:22

“So Paul stood up in front of the council and said: ‘People of Athens, I see that you are very religious. As I was going through your city and looking at the things you worship, I found an altar with the words, "To an Unknown God." You worship this God, but you don't really know him. So I want to tell you about him.’”

  • We respect Islamic culture as we share the Gospel.

    1 Peter 3:15

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience...”

  • We focus on Jesus.

    1 Corinthians 2:1

“Friends, when I came and told you the mystery that God had shared with us, I didn't use big words or try to sound wise. In fact, while I was with you, I made up my mind to speak only about Jesus Christ, who had been nailed to a cross.”

  • We depend upon the power of the Holy Spirit.

    1 Corinthians 2:3

“At first, I was weak and trembling with fear. When I talked with you or preached, I didn't try to prove anything by sounding wise. I simply let God's Spirit show his power. That way you would have faith because of God's power and not because of human wisdom.”

  • We seek to see Muslims born again into the Kingdom of God.

    John 3:3

“Jesus replied, ‘I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!’"
